TUMCAR – Individual Vehicle Rental Terms & Conditions
TUMCAR provides vehicle rental services through independent partner suppliers. By completing a reservation, the customer fully accepts all terms and conditions listed below.
Reservation & Payment
- All reservations are made exclusively via www.tumrentacar.com.
- TUMCAR does not collect payments; payment is made directly to the vehicle supplier at pickup.
- Accepted payment methods (cash, card, etc.) may vary by supplier and must be complied with.
Minimum Age & Driving License Requirements
- All vehicles: Minimum age 22 years, driving license held for at least 3 years.
- Upper vehicle categories: Minimum age 25 years, driving license held for at least 5 years.
- Driving licenses not issued in Latin characters require an International Driving Permit.
- Invalid or incomplete documents will result in vehicle non-delivery with no refund.
Vehicle Pickup & Return
- The vehicle is handed over only to the person named in the reservation.
- Returns delayed by more than 59 minutes are charged as an additional rental day.
- Vehicle condition, fuel level, and cleanliness are checked at pickup and return.
⛽ Fuel & Cleaning Policy
- The vehicle must be returned in the same condition (generally Full-to-Full).
- Missing fuel or excessive dirt may result in additional charges.
Insurance & Coverage
- Standard insurance provided by the supplier applies.
- No coverage applies in cases of alcohol/drug use, severe traffic violations, or intentional damage.
- Optional coverage packages (tires, glass, headlights, minor damage, etc.) are available at extra cost.
Mileage Policy
- Unlimited mileage generally applies.
- Some vehicles may have a daily mileage limit; excess mileage is charged per kilometer.
Additional Drivers
- Additional drivers must be declared in advance.
- They must meet the same age and license requirements as the main driver.
- Undeclared drivers are not covered by insurance.
❌ Cancellation, Changes & No-Show
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before pickup.
- No refunds apply for late cancellations or no-shows.
Traffic Violations & Vehicle Use
- All traffic fines, tolls, and penalties are the responsibility of the renter.
- Vehicles may only be used on public roads and within legal limits.
⚠️ Breakdown, Mechanical & Undercarriage Damage
- Mechanical damage caused by driving errors is the renter’s responsibility.
- Undercarriage damage (engine protection, chassis, exhaust, etc.) is not covered.
- Off-road driving is strictly prohibited and results in full liability.
Unauthorized Use
- The vehicle may only be driven by persons listed in the rental agreement.
- Insurance coverage becomes void if driven by unauthorized persons.
- All damages and legal consequences are borne by the renter.
